I got married!

I got married! We (me and my HUSBAND Sofus) surprised my parents and his parents. Told them we were going out too eat and drove to rectory and got married. I had my aunts as a witness and he had a friend. After the ceremony we treated them to a dinner and cake. My aunt started crying the second she saw the priest. I will be back later with a OOTD. And sorry for not being around and posting more lately. Just been crazy trying to get the house ready for people and the surprise wedding.

Hippie ispired OOTD

I think that this outfit looks like it's a bit hippie inspired - Feel all I am missing are knee high socks and flowers in my hair. I bought the dress from a blog sale from Rikke/StickySweetDane. And I feel in love with it straight away! But even tough I like wearing bright colors I had problems getting around wearing this dress. I originally wanted to wear this dress with leopard printed tights but of course they tore when I was putting them one. So I had a quick accessories and tights change.

IGNORE the horrible windy photos in the beginning. I just wanted to give you a better lighting quality and photo quality but we still have wind and rain - in all sh*tty weather. SO I tried retaking them when I got home but you can see the wrinkles from sitting down.

 What I Wore :
Dress - from ASOS Curve / bought it from a blogsale
Tights - from Evans
Vest - from New Look Inspire
Feather Earrings - from ebay
Silver Belt - from ASOS Curve

*I found the earring by using the search words long black feather earrings*

I wore this dress to a girls night dinner party at a friends - we have this tradition that once a month we take turns hosting a dinner party with theme - this girl choose "Gossip Girl". I didn't go all out like I like too do but I felt like a lady so kinda gossip girl like. I am thinking about having a "big bang theory" theme - we have to make the food fit in to your theme - I have only so far figured out that I want to make cheese cake for dessert since Penny works at the cheese factory. And serve drinks in those chemistry looking tubes. Other then than I am still blank, but I have almost 2 months before it's my turn!

What else is new? We (me and my boyfriend) are remodeling! We on of your living rooms done, so we only have the kitchen, 2 bathrooms and the washing room to do. And everything sounds so easy UNTIL you get started! Just painting the doors with, they are natural wood but have gotten so dark with time and I wanted everything to be light, so we painted them with. And one door needs 2 coats of primer and one with paint and the door has too dry for 2 days between coats - and this is just one side! And I have 6 doors left. Thank God I have vacation coming up!

Well enough ranting for now!
Hope everyone is doing well and since we still don't have any sunshine, feel free and send some too me!

*GRRRR* Retake

So I did a retake of the last OOTD. I didn't like the way it turned out and I really wanted to do the neon pants justice. They are really awesome! We still have snow and wind and rain and snow again! Argh! I am so jealous when I read other blog posts from fellow plus size bloggers and they are wearing summer clothes and I am still stuck with layers. But I refuse to not try my best!

It's no secret that I am a apple size, which means that I carry most of my weight in the middle, the belly area. I also have no booty (butt) and skinny legs. So I find it hard to find jeans that fit me right. If they fit my legs I get a muffin top or if they fit my middle they become baggy around my thighs but that wear ASOS jeans come in! They usually have a lot of stretch too them, I just wish they had a bigger selection of jean styles other than skinny ones.

What I Wore :
Jeans - ASOS Curve
Black tunic - H&M normal range
Leather Jacket - Evans Beth ditto collection nr. 1
Mustache necklace - ASOS
Black ballerinas - New Look - I got them from ebay
White Watch - Mango
Rings - H&M, Accessories and thrifted

Where I Wore it :
Girls Night Out!

I am loving the style of..

If you don't know this beautiful face yet you need too youtube her : Carly Rae Jepsen. She's 26 year old singer/songwriter hot right now with the song : Call Me Maybe. She makes me want to dye my hair dark again. And grow it long! She has so cute relaxing bohemian style with is easy to recreate.

In this picture below she is wearing a yellow dress paired with a red belt. I bought a yellow dress from ASOS Curve a couple of days ago and was in a little of bit chock when I recived it. It was SO yellow and I had no idea how to style it. I refuse to stay with in the safe zone and pair the dress with black accessories - black and yellow make me think of a bee. So I think I am going to pair it with a red belt, some nude shoes silver accessories and maybe a nude color cardigan depending on what the weather is like. We still have snow - I cant wait until we get better weather, at least dryer weather. I can't stand more water or snow. The yellow dress that I bought is unfortunately sold out but ASOS has at this time 4 other yellow dresses for sale.

plus size cartoon tights

I bought these tights of a eBay seller named stockingtopsuk.  The seller has a lot of different, cute and wild tights in plus sizes from UK 8 to UK 32. The ones I bought are a size 28-32 and I recommend to size up. I have experienced before (more than once) that the cheaper leggings and tights run smaller in size. They were 8£ and overseas shipping was 1,69£. This is probably not that cheap everywhere in the world but where I live I pay about 17£ for a pair of plus size tight and they come in standard color ; black or brown. And I like funky print and colors - they make me happy! The only downside to these tights is that they have a low rise but they stretch a lot.

The shipping was actually great it took a little more than a week for the tights to arrive and that's fast shipping for what I am used to. When I order from ASOS it usually takes 2 to 3 weeks for my items to arrive.

Below are a couple of different tights in the plus size range.
That was all for this time and until next time - stay happy!

Polka...

Dress/Tunic - Secondhand - from South
Black tights - from Evans
Black cardigan - from H&M+
White belt from Torrid (old stock)
Black boots from eBay

So I friend called me at almost midnight and asked if we should go out for a beer and I felt like dressing a little bit up. I bought this polka dot tunic at a secondhand store a couple of weeks ago and never got around to using it.

My hair is finally growing and I can almost fit it all into a ponytail. I CAN'T wait until it get to a length where I can curl it and style it. I have been thinking about coloring it some crazy color. I am actually in love with the faded coloring hairstyle that's going on right now but I have to wait until after my boyfriends 30th birthday in July - we are having family photos taken with our families and I think I may regret having pink faded hair in the photos :)

See you around!

OOTD - jeans and plaid

Guess what, I am wear all blue again. Wore this outfit today when I went to help my mother clean out some old toys and junk we don't use anymore. The blue top is new, I got it from my boyfriend when he came back from a trip to Denmark. He bought it from H&M only 14 days ago so I guess they would be in stock still - I just can't find it online.

The blue plaid shirt is from Evans - about 2 years old. I don't like the clothes selection from all that much more. They have been gone to much brownish, old style floral and a bit ill fitted for my like.

The jeans are old, I use them for work. I bought them from Zizzi almost 4 years ago. They were a bit expensive but since they have lasted me this long I think they were worth it. That was all for this time.

I am off to eat - free range chicken, rice, gravey and chips. Sunday feast!

OOTD - ASOS coral

What I wore :
ASOS Curve top with dip back - sold out
Denim Shorts - from South - Last summer item
Arabic Scarf from the 90's! So we call it vintage
Socks - home made by my mother in law
Sneakers - from Graceland - last summer item
Mule Bag - from smilende suzie - from the 90's

The top is unfortunately sold out but they have them in a similar version but with longer sleeves and in the colors blue and grey. I have this top in black, coral and a light blue version and they are SO comfortable to wear and can be worn down or dressed up.

I bought a pair of cute owl knee socks that I am going to pair with my light blue top. But this could  be worn with the gray top too. And the socks are on sale right now - score! I used to hate it when people wore socks with sandals or strappy shoes but I am starting too like the look more and more.

Link to the ASOS Owl socks.

Until the next time - stay happy!

**UPDATE**
forgot to mention that the black tights are from Evans. They are pretty share but I like that, they have enough color to hide the little bruises I have left from the car accident. They were cheap too, 3 for something. Don't remember, I bought the for my office Christmas party in December - I just checked they are still available.

So yeah this happen!

So yeah this happen 14 days ago. I was minding my own business and driving to work when a driver in a brand new Audi car didn't think she needed to slow down like the other cars in front of me and her and she slammed right into the back of my car with 80 km/hour and made my car a sandwich between the one in front of me and hers. I ended up in the hospital with out any major injurious - they were afraid I might have damaged my back or neck but it was only bruises, cuts and sore mussels. BUT I am back and fight for fight - I've returned to full time working and am looking forward too posting more OOTD's outfitts.

Hope everyone is super!
Easter is on the way and yeah for chocolate eggs.
*I've already started on mine!* I know, bad me.

my playground, eBay!

eBay truly is a magical fun place for people with PayPal accounts! Today I got bored, home alone, boyfriend away on business trip and I ended up on eBay and found a cute outfit. All the items are around 11 to 19 £ - all the items were NWT or NWOT - in real life that means New With Tags or New Without Tags. I already own ankle boots and black cardigans - but defiantly am thinking about buying the tights, tunic and earrings :o) I would both wear this on a night out with friends and to a office work place.

Until next time, stay happy!

Lost in Rain!

I feel so uninspired lately - we keep having snow, snow, rain, storm aaannnd more rain. I don't mind rain every now and then. And snow in the winter time! I just wish we would have nice weather were I could wear something nice instead of a snow suit. So I decided too rebel against the weather and wear colors! And I am wearing the ASOS CURVE Pencil Skirt In Colourblock Stripe. I bought it in a size larger then I usual wear I know its a pencil skirt but I don't like that it's so tight that it shows of all my bumps. I was debating a long time with myself whether to keep it or return it.But decided to keep it - I will make it work!

What I Wore :
Black tights from yoursclothing.co.uk
Skirt from ASOS Curve
Black top from ASOS Curve
White belt from eBay
Green cardigan from H&M (in stock)

Nail polish :
Chicaboomboom from H&M (in stock)

ASOS CURVE Wrap Dress With Button Waist

So I bought this dress from ASOS a couple a weeks ago and must say that this is the first item I've returned. The dress looks so good on the model - both in still pictures and on the runway movie. But when I tried it on it felt straight away as a nurse or dental assistant uniform - it didn't have the best fit for my apple shaped body. and the sleeves with their little puff on the top and they were to wide for my taste. I carry most of my weight on my waist and have skinny legs and arms.
The fabric was great though and the color of the dress is great. Stretchy and soft but you can tell my the feel to it that it will survive being washed and still come out like almost new. I ordered it in black and it was a true raven black color.

Well that's about it. I just wanted to share my thoughts on this dress if someone was thinking about googeling it. I will be back in the weekend with some OOTD for you. And I just got the news from my work place that they will be changing our work uniform so I have to show you photos of my uniform - both old and new. I keep saying to myself I will do it next week but never get around too it. Maybe it's because I think that our uniform suck! =0)

Well - have a nice week everyone!
