Finding my way back

So I have been major AWOL for over a year - I think it's because I fell in too a depression and it's hard enough too even function on a daily and normal base. But I tried too take some OOTD photos but never posted them. I felt too guilty not being here more regularly.  But I am back and I am fit for fight!

What was my depression about? Last year was the 20th anniversary since my big brother passed away - he got drunk and stole a car that he wrecked and died in. I was only 9 at the time and never really worked on my feelings and emotions regarding the loss of him. And it has been building up too the point where I couldn't function as me but just went on autopilot. I will have too post a photo of him soon - he was a heart-breaker, a really cutie.

But here are some photos of all the looks I have had this year. I've been better at wearing colorful makeup on even a daily base. I have in the middle of all the photos given myself a side cut, not too extreme so I could hide it if I wanted. And too months ago I went too the hairdresser and I asked if she could clean the lines of the cut up and she went cray-cray on me and shaved half of my head. The first photo on the 4th row - I have no idea how too save it, the last photo in the 3rd row was taken the day before the hair cut and I actually like that hair better - well it's hair, it grows back. 

I've had some crazy colors in my hair too. I know - I am turning 30 in a little more than a month and I have too grow up a little.

So What else is new? I got another tattoo - it was done by a local tattoo artist but it's a sketch by Rick Lee. I wanted something with a frame and a deer and I love it!

The rest are just photos of what I have been doing this year. I've tried too get out with my friends and have tried too have some good old fun. I've tried too get into a creative mood again and create thing, even If it only was some simple home DIY.

Window browing on eBay - studds version

So I am home sick and decided too brows eBay just for fun - I found some fun items I wanted too share. I hope everyone is having a great weekend

Custom Marvel shorts up too a size UK22 - that's a 48/50 in Europe

plus size cartoon tights

   

I bought these tights of a eBay seller named stockingtopsuk.  The seller has a lot of different, cute and wild tights in plus sizes from UK 8 to UK 32. The ones I bought are a size 28-32 and I recommend to size up. I have experienced before (more than once) that the cheaper leggings and tights run smaller in size. They were 8£ and overseas shipping was 1,69£. This is probably not that cheap everywhere in the world but where I live I pay about 17£ for a pair of plus size tight and they come in standard color ; black or brown. And I like funky print and colors - they make me happy! The only downside to these tights is that they have a low rise but they stretch a lot.

The shipping was actually great it took a little more than a week for the tights to arrive and that's fast shipping for what I am used to. When I order from ASOS it usually takes 2 to 3 weeks for my items to arrive.

So I friend called me at almost midnight and asked if we should go out for a beer and I felt like dressing a little bit up. I bought this polka dot tunic at a secondhand store a couple of weeks ago and never got around to using it. 

My hair is finally growing and I can almost fit it all into a ponytail. I CAN'T wait until it get to a length where I can curl it and style it. I have been thinking about coloring it some crazy color. I am actually in love with the faded coloring hairstyle that's going on right now but I have to wait until after my boyfriends 30th birthday in July - we are having family photos taken with our families and I think I may regret having pink faded hair in the photos :)

OOTD - jeans and plaid

Guess what, I am wear all blue again. Wore this outfit today when I went to help my mother clean out some old toys and junk we don't use anymore. The blue top is new, I got it from my boyfriend when he came back from a trip to Denmark. He bought it from H&M only 14 days ago so I guess they would be in stock still - I just can't find it online. 

The blue plaid shirt is from Evans - about 2 years old. I don't like the clothes selection from all that much more. They have been gone to much brownish, old style floral and a bit ill fitted for my like.

The jeans are old, I use them for work. I bought them from Zizzi almost 4 years ago. They were a bit expensive but since they have lasted me this long I think they were worth it. That was all for this time. 

I am off to eat - free range chicken, rice, gravey and chips. Sunday feast!

Merry Christmas!

..or as we say Gleðilig Jól! I have had a busy couple of days. Me and my boyfriend hosted for the first time Christmas at our house. So we have had our hands full with making dinner, deserts and baking + entertaining our family. My father tried for the first time - the Wii! Needless to say he had a great time. I don't need to worry about what to get him for his birthday ;o) 

I must say I have been spoiled rotten this year. I think I got way expensive gift and all gift I wished for! I will post pictures of the gifts on a later date. Today is what we call the 2nd day of Christmas (the 26th of December) we in Europe open our presents on the eve of Christmas (the 24th) - one day before the people in the states - why? I do not know. I have to Google that later. 

I am, as I am writing this, making dinner - sheep meat in a special faroese way - the sheep are slathered and we hang the meat up in a barn like house for about 6 weeks to dry. It's something in the faroese air, I think the salt from the sea that gives the meat a strong smell and taste that most foreigners don't like but it makes our mouths water. I will provide photos later too :o) If only we had smell-o-vision.

Today I have two old OOTD's to show you. It's two laid back outfits that I wore two weeks ago but never posted because I didn't think they were all that special. But I have been a bad blogger these days and haven't been taking photos. But I will take photos of my Christmas outfit today and post them later or tomorrow. Until then hope you are all having a great Christmas :o)

My 1st tattoo! :o)

So I've got my first tattoo done! And I am in love, already started drawing my sleeve. I want a tattoo that goes from one elbow up to the shoulders and half onto my back. I really like fairy tales and  the figures/characters in them so I want a mermaid, a unicorn and stars to be a part of the full tattoo.
