*GRRRR* Retake

So I did a retake of the last OOTD. I didn't like the way it turned out and I really wanted to do the neon pants justice. They are really awesome! We still have snow and wind and rain and snow again! Argh! I am so jealous when I read other blog posts from fellow plus size bloggers and they are wearing summer clothes and I am still stuck with layers. But I refuse to not try my best! 

It's no secret that I am a apple size, which means that I carry most of my weight in the middle, the belly area. I also have no booty (butt) and skinny legs. So I find it hard to find jeans that fit me right. If they fit my legs I get a muffin top or if they fit my middle they become baggy around my thighs but that wear ASOS jeans come in! They usually have a lot of stretch too them, I just wish they had a bigger selection of jean styles other than skinny ones.

OOTD - ♥

Not that this OOTD is my absolute favorite but I decided too call it ♥ because of the blouse. The blouse I found on eBay and won the action and payed about 6 £ (36 DDK) with shipping which is nothing compared too what I have too pay for clothes in the Faroe Islands. The blouse is by Marks & Spencer and a UK size 20 - I usually buy a size 22 or 24 but in this case I just really wanted it and took a chance - Which I am glad I did now. I am a strong believer of "make it work" when it comes to curves and plus size - rules are meant to be broken!

The second two photos made me laugh so loud! Exactly the same pose in both and even the same gangster wannabe look in both of them. You have too excuse me but I forgot to take the photos before going out and had to take them when I got home at 2 in the morning. I went on a double date with my boyfriend, a friend and her boyfriend. We went and got some pizza and then back to their place and watched a movie.

So this was my OOTD from last night. I am thinking about asking a friend of mine to go and watch the new Sherlock Holms movie that is theaters now. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

My newest buy - Hawaii jacket

So this baby is my newest buy. I bought it of eBay for 7$ but the shipping was even higher 15$! So in total 22$ - in my currency it came too about 132 DDK witch is quite cheap. I just hate it when I pay crazy more for shipping price rather than the item its self.

I will probably pair it with a pair of blue jeans leggings or boot-cut jeans. I want to try a black loose tank top underneath or a boyfriend like t shirt with a v neck and 3/4 sleeves. The jacket also has 3/4 sleeves so it would probably work it a wore full sleeves underneath. Give the outfit a little more edge to it. Since the jacket and the outfit has so much cool tones to it I would pair it with some gold accessories and keep the makeup pinkish and peachy. The blush from Sleek - Golden Rose would work great with this look. Since it's getting really cold outside (we already have snow!) I would pair it with a boots. I've edited a photo for you with the outfit I have in my mind. I can't wait for this jacket to arrive! But being used to international shipping and living on small islands I know it will take up too 4 weeks. 

Sorry for not posting any OOTD this week. I've been feeling under the weather - almost sick but not really. I have one more week of work than 14 days of summer vacation! Yes, I know summer vacation in the winter time but my sister is coming from Denmark with her husband and their kids + my best friend Rani is also coming to visit from Denmark + my boyfriend has the time off +  me and my boyfriend have been together for 10 year on the 20th! + it's my birthday on the 21th - I am turning 28 years this time! I have a lot of tings coming up and a lot of excuses to wear cute clothes and not just my work uniform.

Day off = Dress up! (picture heavy blog)

So I forgot I had a day off! HA! So I got up early and had nothing to do (well nothing I wanted to do that is. I am a procrastinator. I'll do the dishes and wash the clothes tomorrow) So I went into my clothes and played dress up. I found my inspiration again

So I have been gone for a while. And getting back into blogging has been something I haven't been looking forward too. And let me explain why! I love this blogging showing you pictures, telling you a little story from the day and most of all the response. But I have a skinny family that sees my plus size - my fat! as a negative thing. After the last blog post I had a big fight with my mother. She keeps buying me clothes that are 2 sizes too big because she think my clothes fit too tight and I shouldn't show my fat. It's shameful and should be hidden. And than I get mad and defend myself. So typically she wants to make thing right, and she does so by suggesting that we get me started loosing weight by entering a gym together. Or the newer trend - a operation to shrink my stomach. And that's what made me hit rock bottom. I just started too cry my eyes out and stood up and left the room. My poor boyfriend had to get in between me and my mother. I forgive her. I just keep thinking, she doesn't know any better. She's ignorant. But I know she's not. When she was 20'ish she too was big and she didn't loose the weight because she said to herself "now I am going too lose it," she lost the weight from stress. She was a single mom with 3 kids and a full time job.  

I am really proud of my mother but still major pissed off sometimes. I hate that she sees my bigness as a problem and needs to change me physically. I know I am big, I know I need too loose weight. I also know I have a lot of emotional problems I need to work throw and I know I am a comfort eater. I feed my emotions food. I thank God that I have a great boyfriend that loves me no matter what. I was a size EU size 40 when we meet and after a lot of family problems, hanging around bad people, depression and doing a job with a evil boss for too long I am now a EU size 50. 

But I am getting better, I have a job a love. I work with great people. I have great friends. I have hobbies that make me go out and enjoy life. I no longer stay in all day feeling sorry for myself. I am ready to move on and you know what I've gotten to know so far? I like and love me now. And I don't mind the weight. I want to live healthier in the future but that doesn't guaranty that I will be a skinny person.

I wore this outfit to go shopping with my boyfriend. We went looking for a new couch but didn't find one we liked. So I dragged my boyfriend to go shopping for new nail polish. My new obsession is Kleancolor nail polish. I love that it's cheap but good quality, the brush applicator is amazing! And the color variation is to die for. I also had a gift certificate too a jewelry store so I went in to buy a watch :) I feel in love with the lime green one, the brand is "Mango". I already have the watch in purple and white. They are so cute that I want one in every color!

 

Sorry for the extreme long blog post today. I had a lot to get of my shoulders and I promise I will be a better blogger from now on. I am going to a birthday party tonight and I will have another outfit post ready for you tomorrow. Have a great weekend everyone!

I am so existed!

ohh the drama and the pain..

I tried to be one of the boys and lift to heavy at work a couple of days ago and I have been in pain since! So I have been away from the blog for a while. But I have a photo post today *YEAH me!* Me and my boyfriend decided to eat out today. The sun was shining and we didn't feel like staying home, so we went for a drive to the city and a walk, we ate some Chinese food and bought a DVD.

This is me ;o) I am wearing a old military style jacket from Torrid. I bought mine from eBay. It's a US size 22/24 - it's a bit big and has a lot of stretch to it. It's prob. about 3 years old. It's from when I just discoverd that there is a world of plus size colthing online and the joy of shopping! Thank God and the banks for VISA. Please don't notice my not at all cute hair. I have had the total bad hair year! But I have a date with my hairdresser next week and I still have no ide what I want to do! I feel like getting it cut short and wild. Something fun! I've had long hair for years now and feel like a change is needed. But I am afraid it will make my face look even more heavy! But that's what the hairdresser is there for, right? Well lets hope so...

I am also wearing a white t-shirt from Vera Moda, it's a size XL. I has super short sleeves so I don't like wearing it with out a jacket or a cardigan since I have my arms. It's not because they are big, my arms are actually firm since I do a lot of lifting, it's just because I am so pale and large, I never get any color from the sun. I always just burn and turn red. But I have a tattoo design in my head and I am going to go to the local tattoo artist here and talk to him this summer. I want color and fun design.

I paired the jacket and tshirt with a pair of baggy jeans from Zizzi - I think the designer is Jay or Zay... I never remember. Sorry for the pictures being so dark. I bought a tripod now so I dont have to make my boyfriend take photos. The black blob in the photo is my cat "Joey" after the caracter from Friends. They are both really happy for food. I am also wearing to cheap braclets, one red and one orange and a pair of sneakers I also bought from ebay. They are the brand Graceland and can be found at stores like Deichman. That's all I have to share with you for now.
